Growing in popularity, non-religious, non-ethnic and non-cultural - but these ceremonies cannot replace the Legal Registration of Birth and the issue of a Legal Birth Certificate, which is a UK Legal requirement. Our certificate is not a legal document or proof of birth.

A valid legal Birth Certificate will need to be produced for any child to be included in a Naming Ceremony, The duration of the Ceremony is about 30 minutes.

The Ceremony is however a very Special Occasion, whereby parents can formally, in the presence of their family and closest friends, clearly demonstrate their committment to their newest family member - as they may in a Religious Christening but without the religious content in this case.
